Saturday BBQ @ The Halford – Low Country BBQ meets Mexico City

Saturday is back and so is our BBQ throw-down. This week we are doing Low Country BBQ meets Mexico City marinade. What could that possibly mean you ask, well let me tell you. We are taking chicken legs and rubbing them down in a fiery concoction of chilies and pineapples. Large tiger prawns are gently cooked in a warm bath of beer, Cajun spices, house made andouille sausage, grilled corn and potatoes. For $20 dollars your senses will be activated, your stomach will be full, your brain will be contented.

Weihenstephan Hefeweizen – Pouring Now @weihenstephanusa

Weihenstephan Hefeweizen

Our golden-yellow wheat beer, with its fine-poured white foam, smells of cloves and impresses consumers with its refreshing banana flavour. It is full bodied and with a smooth yeast taste. To be enjoyed at any time, goes excellently with fish and seafood, with spicy cheese and especially with the traditional Bavarian veal sausage. Brewed according to our centuries-old brewing tradition on the Weihenstephan hill.

Avery – Rumpkin – Now Pouring

Rumpkin

  • ANNUAL BARREL SERIES
  • RUM BARREL-AGED PUMPKIN ALE
  • 17.5% ABV

We wondered what would happen if a monstrous pumpkin ale, plump full of spicy gourdiness, were aged in fine fresh rum barrels to add suggestions of delicate oak and candied molasses. Rumpkin is what happens!

Almanac – Summer in the City (Sour) Now Pouring

Summer in the City combines California-grown citrus, vanilla beans, and Citra hops to make a bright, refreshing beer perfect for summer sipping. Aged in oak barrels, layers of tangerine, mandarin and oranges blend with our all-Brettanomyces fermentation before we finished it with vanilla for a touch of sweetness. A little hoppy, a little wild, and a lot of personality make this beer great with BBQ shrimp, lemon bars and long summer days full of sunshine. 6.6 ABV

Track 7 – Nuckin’ Futz Imperial Peanut Butter Chocolate Cream Porter

We just tapped a fresh keg of NUKIN’ FUTZ IMPERIAL PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE CREAM PORTER … YUM!
This creamy and crazy ale takes our Burnt Fog Smoked Porter recipe, drops the smoked malt, and adds peanut butter, chocolate and lactose sugar. The combination produces a creamy peanut butter cup of a beer that will make you sit up and pay attention. Nukin’ Futz was originally brewed to celebrate our 3rd Anniversary, but it turned out to be too good to only brew once, and so will continue on as a regular release.
